North Carolina High School Baseball - North Stanly wallops Ledford

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting North Stanly Comets baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Ledford Panthers.
The Comets (11-0) will now prepare for their game against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Albemarle was overwhelmed by North Stanly (New London, NC), 13-0, in a league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A game, on Friday, March 28. Ledford will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Timberwolves go into the game with a 6-6 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC).
