North Carolina High School Baseball - Montgomery Central loses to Southern Lee

March 26, 2025: Sanford, NC 27332

The Southern Lee Cavaliers triumphed over the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves baseball squad by a score of 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Cavaliers battle the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A outing, on Friday, March 28. Southern Lee will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Bucks come into the outing with a 2-11 record after their 14-10 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).

The Timberwolves (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers come into the Mid-Piedmont 3A outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Ledford was overwhelmed by North Stanly (New London, NC), 12-0, in a non-league outing.
