The North Boone Vikings baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Woodstock North Thunder to 0 in the Vikings non-league win on Wednesday.
The Vikings now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dakota for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. North Boone will play a Indians team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Woodstock North drops to 0-1 on the year. The Thunder host Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to play the Bucs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. The Bucs go into the test with a record of 0-4. Belvidere lost 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)
