Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA), observed Governor Mifflin's volleyball team top Hempfield by a tally of 3-1.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Exeter Township (Reading, PA). The Eagles enter the Berks County I contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Exeter Township beat Unionville (Kennett Square, PA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Black Knights meet the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) in a Lancaster Lebanon Section One contest, on Thursday, March 27. Hempfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Penn Manor (Millersville, PA).
