The now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Freedom for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. Independence will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Patriot falls to 2-1 on the year. The Pioneers host Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Woodbridge won 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Hylton (Woodbridge, VA)
