The Freedom Patriots soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Burns Bulldogs to 0 in the Patriots non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Patriots now hold a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Draughn for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 27. Freedom will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Burns moves to 3-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 28. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 4-7. East Rutherford won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Chase (Forest City, NC)
