North Carolina High School Baseball - Mooresville sneaks past Alexander Central

March 26, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28115

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) and the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), saw Mooresville's baseball team get by Alexander Central by a margin of 8-7.

The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Cox Mill was tipped by Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 9-8, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cougars face the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a battle, on Friday, March 28. Alexander Central will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
