North Carolina High School Baseball - Asheboro loses to Bishop McGuinness

In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), by a tally of 11-3.

Next up, the Villains encounter the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 10-10 non-league Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).

The Blue Comets (0-9) will now prepare for their bout against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Central Davidson was overwhelmed by Carson (China Grove, NC), 11-4, in a non-league bout.
