In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting East Surry Cardinals baseball team scored a close 10-6 win over the South Stokes Sauras.

The Cardinals (4-3) will now prepare for their game against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, North Wilkes was overwhelmed by Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 11-3, in a non-league game.
