North Carolina High School Baseball - Wakefield holds off Willow Spring

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Wakefield Wolverines baseball team scored a close 8-4 win over the Willow Spring Storm.

The Wolverines (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Wake Forest was overwhelmed by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 5-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Storm play the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a game, on Tuesday, April 8. Willow Spring will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record.
