The Laney Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the host Ashley Screaming Eagle to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoggard for a challenge on Monday, March 31. Laney will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Ashley falls to 3-2 on the year. The Screaming eagle travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to clash with the Scorpions in a challenge on Monday, March 31. The Scorpions go into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
