The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) and the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), observed Ardrey Kell's softball team notch a victory over Porter Ridge by a final score of 11-3.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, South Stanly gained a win over West Stanly (Oakboro, NC), 6-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Porter Ridge will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).
