The Santa Fe Chiefs softball squad (Santa Fe Springs, CA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting California Condors (Whittier, CA)

With the triumph, California improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Condors host Gahr (Cerritos, CA) to meet the Gladiators in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Gladiators go into the test with a record of 1-1. Gahr lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against South Hills (West Covina, CA)

The Chiefs (7-1) will now prepare for their test against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA). The Dons go into the test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, El Rancho held off Arroyo (El Monte, CA), 12-10, in a non-league test.
