The Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) softball routed the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), 19-3 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlee for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 27. Hanover will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Matoaca moves to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to encounter the Generals in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 27. The Generals come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
