Virginia High School Softball - Ocean Lakes succumbs to Kempsville

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ocean Lakes Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA), by a tally of 12-1.

Next, the Chiefs meet the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 31. Kempsville will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA).

The Dolphins (1-1) will now prepare for their test against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, First Colonial was routed by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 17-0, in a non-league test.
