The Kent Island Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the host Caesar Rodney Riders to 11 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Buccaneers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur for a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. Kent Island will face a Seahawks squad coming off a 28-0 non-league win over North Dorchester (Hurlock, MD). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Caesar Rodney falls to 1-1 on the year. The Riders travel to Polytech (Woodside, DE) to face the Panthers in a Henlopen North outing on Monday, March 31. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Polytech lost 18-2 in their recent league outing against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE)
