The Yorba Linda Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars to 7 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Orange Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. Yorba Linda will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 27-5 non-league win over Norco (Norco, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Capistrano Valley falls to 3-10 on the year. The Cougars travel to San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to clash with the Stallions in a challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Stallions go into the challenge with a record of 4-7. San Juan Hills won 11-6 in their recent league challenge against Beckman (Irvine, CA)
