In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Chapel Hill Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 triumph over the Pinecrest Patriots.
The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record.
Next, the Patriots meet the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills contest, on Monday, March 31. Pinecrest will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC).
