In Wednesday's non-league test, the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) lacrosse team edged the visiting Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 10-9.
Next up, the Stags battle the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. DeMatha will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 8-1 record after their 21-2 league win over Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC).
The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Providence Day got by Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 15-3, in a non-league test.
