Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) and the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), witnessed Crestwood's lacrosse squad gain a win over Lakeland by a count of 13-11.

The Comets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA). The Tigers enter the Wyoming Valley Lacrosse League contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Tunkhannock was edged by Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA), 11-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Chiefs meet the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) in a Wyoming Valley Lacrosse League contest, on Friday, March 28. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Comets enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 16-7 non-league win over Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).
