Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) and the visiting Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA), saw Franklin County's soccer squad triumph over Greene County by a count of 10-0.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Area 8 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Hart County was overwhelmed by Towns County (Hiawassee, GA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 5 battle, on Friday, March 28. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Social Circle (Social Circle, GA).
