Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) and the host Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA), saw Mead's soccer squad hold off Gonzaga Prep by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA). The Tigers enter the 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Lewis & Clark tipped Ferris (Spokane, WA), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bullpups confront the Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA) in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane battle, on Friday, March 28. Gonzaga Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Cheney (Cheney, WA).
