The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops softball squad (Zanesville, OH), was edged 21-20 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Beallsville Blue Devils (Beallsville, OH)

With the triumph, Beallsville improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Madonna (Weirton, WV) to face the Blue Dons in a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. The Blue Dons enter the contest with a record of 5-1. Madonna won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Cameron (Cameron, WV)

The Bishops now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Crooksville for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. Bishop Rosecrans will face a Ceramics squad coming off a 2-0 league win over John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Ceramics record now stands at 4-0.
