The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), observed Bryan Station's softball team notch a victory over Boone County by a final score of 11-1.

The Defenders (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Taylor County gained a win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY), 17-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 27. Boone County will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Camels go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY).
