Illinois High School Softball - Putnam County drops to Brimfield

The Putnam County Panthers softball squad (Granville, IL), was routed 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL)

With the triumph, Brimfield improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Indians travel to West Prairie (Sciota, IL) to face the Cyclones in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 27. The Cyclones enter the contest with a record of 0-1. West Prairie lost 15-5 in their recent non-league contest against Macomb (Macomb, IL)

The Panthers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a Tri-County contest on Thursday, March 27. Putnam County will face a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 3-0.
