In Wednesday's league test, the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), by a tally of 17-0.

Next, the Braves clash with the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. Chopticon will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 4-1 record after their 16-2 non-league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA).

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots go into the Southern Maryland test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Northern was routed by Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 7-6, in a league test.
