The Franklin Wildcats the host St. Mary's Rams softball squad by a count of 10-7 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) in a Delta League challenge, on Friday, March 28. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 5-2 league win over Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).

The Rams (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tracy (Tracy, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Tri-City Athletic League challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Tracy edged Lincoln (Stockton, CA), 13-3, in a league challenge.
