North Carolina High School Softball - Hoke County Gray's Creek

March 26, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

In Wednesday's non-league test, the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), by a count of 5-0.

Next, the Bears meet the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A test, on Friday, March 28. Gray's Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 5-6 record after their 22-1 league win over Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC).

The Bucks (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Fighting Scots go into the Sandhills 3A/4A test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Scotland held off South View (Hope Mills, NC), 4-0, in a non-league test.
