The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) and the host Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), observed Hampshire's softball team prevail over Harvard by a tally of 10-0.

The Whip-Purs (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL). The Hubs go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Rochelle was routed by Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL), 15-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 27. Harvard will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Marengo (Marengo, IL).
