In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Metamora Redbirds softball team scored a tight 3-1 win over the Illini Bluffs Tigers.
The Redbirds (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Lincoln by PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL), 6-2, in a non-league match.
