The Union County Yellowjackets softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lancaster Bruins to 2 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Wednesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Hill for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 9.

With the loss, Lancaster moves to 6-5 on the season. The Bruins travel to A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC) to encounter the Falcons in a AAAA Region 3 battle on Thursday, March 27. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 7-1. A.C. Flora won 12-6 in their recent league battle against Lancaster (Lancaster, SC)
