Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), 6-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to play the Redskins in a Mountain State game on Thursday, March 27. The Redskins enter the game with a record of 4-1. Hurricane won 7-2 in their recent non-league game against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV)
The Panthers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington for a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. Lincoln County will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Capital (Charleston, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-5.
