The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs triumphed over the host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays softball squad by a count of 5-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 29. Lynchburg-Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Jeeps enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Unioto (Chillicothe, OH).
