The West Stanly Colts softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Mooresville Blue Devils to 7 in the Colts non-league win on Wednesday.

The Colts now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkwood for a Rocky River 2A/3A battle on Thursday, March 27. West Stanly will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Mooresville moves to 5-5 on the season. The Blue devils travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to confront the Wolverines in a Greater Metro 4A battle on Friday, March 28. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 4-4. West Cabarrus won 11-3 in their recent league battle against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
