The Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) softball the host South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), 4-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoke County for a Sandhills 3A/4A outing on Friday, March 28. Scotland will encounter a Bucks team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, South View moves to 9-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Friday, March 28. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 2-6. Seventy-First lost 22-1 in their recent league outing against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)
