The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA), observed Venice's softball team prevail over St. Monica by a tally of 12-3.

The Gondoliers (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins go into the Western bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Palisades knocked off Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA), 10-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mariners clash with the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) in a Camino Real bout, on Thursday, April 3. St. Monica will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 23-7 league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA).
