The Byng Pirates routed the host Elgin Owls baseball team by a count of 11-3 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blanchard for a non-league test on Saturday, March 28. Byng will play a Lions team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Newcastle (Newcastle, OK). The Lions record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Elgin drops to 12-2 on the year. The Owls travel to Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK) to play the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Friday, March 27.
