Washington High School Softball - North Thurston gets by Rainier

March 26, 2026: Lacey, WA 98516

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) and the visiting Rainier Mountaineers (Rainier, WA), saw North Thurston's softball squad nip Rainier by a score of 5-4.

With the triumph, North Thurston improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Rams host Timberline (Lacey, WA) to battle the Blazers in a 3A South Sound bout on Monday, March 30. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Timberline lost 8-1 in their recent non-league contest against Mark Morris (Longview, WA)

The Mountaineers now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Onalaska for a 2B Central contest on Saturday, March 28. Rainier will face a Loggers squad coming off a 18-8 league win over Winlock (Winlock, WA). The Loggers record now stands at 2-1.
