The Astoria Fishermen crushed the host Baker/Powder Valley Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 19-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Fishermen now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denver Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 28. Astoria will face a Thunder team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Limon (Limon, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 3-1.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 28. Baker/Powder Valley will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR).
