Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC) and the host Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), saw Rolesville's baseball squad knock off Smithfield-Selma by a count of 25-0.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) in a Northern Athletic 4A battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Rolesville will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC).

The Spartans now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to C.B. Aycock for a Quad County 3A battle on Tuesday, March 28. Smithfield-Selma will play a Golden Falcons squad coming off a 2-1 league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 3-5.
