Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 12-8 in a non-league test.

The Golden Lions now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin Regional for a WPIAL 3A 2 test on Tuesday, March 28. Greensburg Salem will face a Panthers squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Indiana (Indiana, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) in a test, on Wednesday, March 29. Hempfield Area will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA).
