South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), 16-8 in a non-league battle.

The War Eagles now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Alpharetta for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 30. South Forsyth will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 11-10 league win over North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-3.

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) in a 5A-6A Area 4 battle, on Thursday, March 30. Sequoyah will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 7-7 record after their 19-0 league win over Dalton (Dalton, GA).
