In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Southeast Guilford Falcons.
The Villains (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, North Davidson was overwhelmed by Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys go into the Metro 4A battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Southwest Guilford was overwhelmed by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
