The Sequoyah Chiefs lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the host Wheeler Wildcats to 4 in the Chiefs non-league win on Monday.
The Chiefs (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles go into the 5A-6A Area 4 match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Etowah prevailed over Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 22-4, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Sprayberry prevailed over Seckinger (Buford, GA), 10-4, in a non-league match.
