In Monday's non-league battle, the host Independence Academy Lions soccer squad scored a good 10-1 triumph over the Stratford Spartans.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hillsboro (Nashville, TN). The Burros come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against KIPP Nashville Collegiate (Nashville, TN). The Warriors come into the 1A District 8 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, KIPP Nashville Collegiate thwarted Merrol Hyde Magnet (Hendersonville, TN), 1-0, in a league battle.
