Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderbolts now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Andrew will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Providence Catholic falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Celtics travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to battle the Porters in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29. The Porters enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Lockport won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN)
