Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Mighty Macs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Lawn for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 30. Mother McAuley will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, De La Salle falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Meteors travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Berwyn/Cicero Morton lost 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
