The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) softball the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 4-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Huskies (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Westerville South (Westerville, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

The Comets now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Perry for a Northwest Central bout on Thursday, March 30. Elgin will confront a Commodores squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH). The Commodores record now stands at 1-0.
