Ohio High School Softball - Swanton bounces Montpelier

The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Swanton Bulldogs (Swanton, OH) and the visiting Montpelier Locomotives (Montpelier, OH), saw Swanton's softball squad achieve victory over Montpelier by a count of 16-7.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hilltop for a non-league match on Friday, March 31. Swanton will face a Cadets squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over North Central (Pioneer, OH). The Cadets record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Montpelier falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Locomotives host Pettisville (Pettisville, OH) to face the Blackbirds in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 28. The Blackbirds enter the match with a record of 0-0.
