Ohio High School Softball - Mt. Gilead loses to Utica

March 27, 2023: Utica, OH 43080

The Utica Redskins softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians to 5 in the Redskins non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Utica improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Redskins host East Knox (Howard, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 29. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-0. East Knox won 15-1 in their recent non-league game against Crestline (Crestline, OH)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Danville Blue Devils (Danville, OH) in a Knox Morrow Athletic game, on Wednesday, March 29. Mt. Gilead will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Lucas (Lucas, OH).
